Failed Experiments = Rare Pocketnauts (and friends…)
We’ve been experimenting with different colors and types of plastics with the Pocketnaut mold. The most recent facepalm moment came when we didn’t think to purge the barrel of the injection machine before switching colors. However, these super bendy (a little too bendy) yellow and black Pocketnaut bodies turned out pretty neat looking. We only had a small amount of plastic to experiment with, so what we’ve made will be it. We’ll be listing them shortly in the shop for a discounted price. LIVE-LOOPING without pedals (or Reggie Watts) on your computer!
Basically I saw Reggie Watts perform and that got me interested in LOOPER/LOOPING/LOOP pedals. Since I don’t have that hardware, I tried to rig up a way to do the same thing in Reaper. B GRADE Pocketnaut
The process of injection molding will always leave you with some items that just aren’t up to par. These Pocketnauts are the ones that didn’t pass Crafsmama’s quality control standards. They might have discoloration, or what look to be cracks where the plastic just didn’t melt together well. While Crafsman is out filming in the shop (which is almost every day), we’ll be working through the B Grade Pocketnauts and listing them in our shop at a discount.
