From SKETCH to SCULPT to SOFT RESIN! (FAUXFUBI – DIY SOFUBI at home)
In this video I show one way to make your own DIY SOFUBI style figures at home! Initially it was only going to be a video about which RESINS to use for rotocasting and HOW TO MAKE PAINT STAY. But it became evident that I should have some kind of end product to show y’all, so I sculpted a Battle Tabby cat in a suit. From SKETCH to CAD… to MOLD? || Designing a little plastic space figure.
3D/CAD SCULPTING BY SEBASTIAN: https://www.fiverr.com/sebagaggino https://instagram.com/sebagaggino?igs… This is a little figure we’re tentatively calling the “POCKETNAUT”. The idea is it’s like a little astronaut style character that can go in your pocket. Maybe the little grooves, bumps, and nubbies are for tactile/feel, and the figure can be a type of worry stone.
