New Pocketnauts Coming Soon!
We’ve had a handful of requests for new Pocketnaut colors and have been kind of aching for a new color combo ourselves. So, once the Glow-in-the-dark Pocketnauts sold out, we looked around the shop to see what we had at hand that we could try out. We came across this wonderful violet color and started the process of changing from the blue material to violet. Little did we know how much we would be drawn to the in-between swirls of the two colors! New Colorway of Pocketnaut NOW AVAILABLE!

Pocketnaut Update!
We are excitedly in the process of changing out the black plastic in the injection machine to yellow for the upcoming Yellow and Dark Grey Pocketnaut release! This means that what we have left of the black PNs in the shop (https://shop.crafnation.com/) will be all that is available of those for a while. New Pocketnaut combination!
This week’s release of Pocketnauts is featuring a new color combination! Due to the diligent efforts of Crafsson and Crafsdaughter, we had a bit of leftover grey faces from the Orange and Grey production run and we really wanted to see how the extra grey faces would look with the black suits. When pairing these two colors, we couldn’t help but think of some of the great black and white films from the past. This little guy will be a nod to the pre-1966 end of that era. Pocketnaut Production Update!
A new batch of the Black and Orange Pocketnauts have been listed in the shop, as well as a couple of different experimental colors of some waaay too floppy Pocketnauts! The past couple of times that we’ve listed the Orange and Grey Pocketnauts, they took a little longer to sell out, so we figured that everyone who wanted one of these color combinations likely got one. It comes at a good time too, as we’ve had a little trouble lately with the circle on the front of the PN having a bubble on it – which, when popped, leaves behind a not so clean looking circle. Failed Experiments = Rare Pocketnauts (and friends…)
We’ve been experimenting with different colors and types of plastics with the Pocketnaut mold. The most recent facepalm moment came when we didn’t think to purge the barrel of the injection machine before switching colors. However, these super bendy (a little too bendy) yellow and black Pocketnaut bodies turned out pretty neat looking. We only had a small amount of plastic to experiment with, so what we’ve made will be it. We’ll be listing them shortly in the shop for a discounted price. B GRADE Pocketnaut
The process of injection molding will always leave you with some items that just aren’t up to par. These Pocketnauts are the ones that didn’t pass Crafsmama’s quality control standards. They might have discoloration, or what look to be cracks where the plastic just didn’t melt together well. While Crafsman is out filming in the shop (which is almost every day), we’ll be working through the B Grade Pocketnauts and listing them in our shop at a discount. Pocketnaut Production Update!
We’re working on finding a good flow for filming in the shop, as well as producing the Pocketnaut figures. It’s not feasible to do both at the same time, so when Crafsman isn’t filming, the Crafsfamily will be producing. This means we won’t be having BIG releases of the figure, but the hope is that we will list however many we can make in a week, every week.
